The Maroney and Barber combo was about as fun and competitive as the Gophers have been in modern times. In college he wasnt that physical of a runner because he didnt have to be. Wish there was another lane for him other than the short yard/goal line back because he ultimately gave his life for that role. All of the things that happened post career, the Dez tweet and him being found during a wellness check, just a heartbreaking ending to a young mans life

Prime example why I always want these athletes especially football players to get the money. What’s the point of putting your body on the line and these organizations dont give a damn about you once you are done playing for them or when they feel like you become a disservice to them.
