Rookie of the year & role player on a title team are much different that 3 time Finals MVP & one time league MVP. I'm just saying with Shaq's dominance there's no way you can't retire his number. Kidd didn't have the same career with the Mavs where he needs to be retired.

I know what you mean, I'm just saying the Lakers and Shaq had a pretty bad falling out and would've been justified to carry it the way Cuban is regardless of the 3 titles. I think he'll eventually have his shyt retired in Dallas, but it's no point in holding back the inevitable.
