Colin Kaepernick made it crystal fukking clear why he was kneeling, Mr Cuban.

Here:

(The WAPO opinion piece yesterday seeks to contrast Tebow’s kneeling with Kaep’s, but since the quote was posted most recently here that’s why I cited it)

Perspective | Colin Kaepernick vs. Tim Tebow: A tale of two Christians on their knees Perspective | Colin Kaepernick vs. Tim Tebow: A tale of two Christians on their knees Perspective | Colin Kaepernick vs. Tim Tebow: A tale of two Christians on their knees

He explains, “I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color. To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

So you tell me, what is unclear about that???
:jbhmm:
when white AmeriKKKans see "black people" and theres no sports/entertainment along side it, its like theyve been hit by that memory flash shyt from Men in Black.

Trying to negotiate an alternative because players actively disregarding the flag as a daily/weekly symbolic reminder to the general public of racial injustice to blacks has become down right infuriating to his good ol boy white contemporaries... further amplified if such a simple gesture were to catch on to other sports leagues, competitions, Olympics, etc.

Don't see why it should be one or the other with that jumbo-tron proposal... why not both Mark?:troll:

Personally...I'm still of the opinion that this discussion doesn't have a place on the football field or the basketball court.

The problem with athletes "speaking up" ...is that as an athlete you aren't the only one entitled to a voice. In otherwords...when they started handing poetical licenses....they didn't end with you getting one...

Inviting an opinion on politics and social issues into the sports arena.... just invites more opposing views and opinions into that same arena....and ultimately corrupts the sport...which is what has been happening.

...brothas and sistas aren't refusing to fulfill their contractual obligation to the organisation. they show up to practices, they do post game pressers, and they play the games. this extra s**t like stand during racist national theme songs was probably not written into said contracts, therefore they shouldn't be forced to participate.

f**k the national anthem and sports teams using it as another control mechanism.
f**k whites who have a problem with nonwhites protesting their b.s.
f**k this f**kboy cuban
