He never played basketball until he was 20 when a community college coach discovered him while he was working as a car mechanic. Played community college ball for two years and then D1 for two years, didn't enter the NBA until he was 25. Yet he led the NBA with 4.3 blocks/game in just his 2nd season and was two-time DPOY and a fukking NBA All-Star.
