don't do that to irving. i like dude but everytime a player tries to compare themselves to wade they end up falling off. I think it's mainly because even though wade is really good he's never been the best player in the league. so saying you're better than him is kinda like a cop out. it's not meaningless like saying you're better than scalibrine but its sort of like saying that this player will never be truly great just really really good.

I will agree that wade was never unanimously crowned the best in the league for a 2-3 year stretch mayby form 08-11 alot of people described him and lebron 1 and 1a.

Edit: Honestly if he couldconsistently stay healthy i think they still would say that. They being analyst/media.
