We traded up into the top 5 to draft a B level QB. Do you not see why this was a failure from the start?

they hoped he was better than that n fukked up. but a team that knows how to develop QBs would have at least gotten a trent green career out of him.

We traded a 2nd round pick that we coulda used to draft Shady McCoy to get him. Instead we trade the rest of our draft the next day to draft Shonn Greene

which isn't much to move up. it was a good move at the time.

we missed out on mccoy but we missed out on pretty much everyone in every draft.

Jets fans we have wack receivers and our dbacks are bad...last 2 years we have drafted only defense with 3 first round picks, the last first round pick we drafted offense I think was Sanchez :sadbron:

I think you're talking about Schottenheimer whom currently coordinating the Rams' offense and heralding Austin Davis to 90+ QB rating games. If Schotty is such an error prone OC, it makes no sense that neither Bradford nor Davis have thrown much in the way of interceptions. Moreover if Schotty is such an overall poor OC, it makes no sense that Davis now has a 90+ QB rating and an above average QBR. This reasoning indicates Schotty was not the reason Sanchez sucked.

Schotty is the worst tho, you've got to have seen that during his time in NY. Dude would call the worst plays for the particular situations. Curl routes with no one beyond the 1st down marker on 3rd down?!? Dude just never got creative with his offensive schemes. You already know Sam was out there like WTF!!!

But where are the turnovers? And why is Austin Davis doing so well?

austin davis has played like 4 games against poor passing defenses.. let's not hype schotty too much :whoa:

his offenses have still been bottom tier since he's been with the rams until this year.. and again, it's only been 5 games.

Sometimes a bad offense doesn't mean a team with a thousand turnovers. Its more about being inefficient and sputtering. While Bradford performed reasonably well while not hurt, he's a very talented QB (at least in my opinion) so he maximized what he was given. Now imagine, the Jets with no offensive weapons, a piss poor O Line, and poor playcalling, you get what Sanchez experienced. St Louis has a couple of receivers, not world beaters by any means, but capable guys who can catch a ball and make a run for the endzone. I havent seen much of Davis, but highlights and stats say that he's pretty decent too allegedly. Put more of a team around him and more dynamic playcalling, and he's prolly going to excel

The two Jets championship runs were pretty fun, yet they were smoke and mirrors teams. Mangini built the foundation of those teams.

The Jets current freefall dates back to the organization handing over the reigns from Mangini to Tannenbaum in 2008.

Even with the interceptions I think Mark validated this thread in about 3 quarters :mjlol:
