Best time to get laid off is the first wave. Big severance packages and a head start on finding new jobs before the block is truly flooded
- 16 weeks + 2 weeks / year of tenure + unused PTO
- November 15th RSU vesting
- 6 months of insurance
Not a bad severance package at all
Leon can’t do everything. No mention of blackplanet ehh, the OG is social media![]()

Folks impacted by this layoff will get the most attention because of the scale and name recognition but other laid off folks will have it way worse and wouldn’t get anywhere close to the same level of support

Facts. Getting support for Facebook Business is impossible. Yet they are happy to take your money. Company has been long overdue for a wake up callIt's wild to know that Facebook has at least 11k employees, because if you've ever had to contact them about an issue there are no humans. You go in a circle of links. What the hell did these people do all day?
Social Media isn't going to die. Zuckerberg has to lay people off because he went all in on the metaverse shyt and it's a big ass money pit. They've been investing and spending billions to push that without any return.I ain’t ever expect this. Social media haters finna get they wish because that sht finna die. Just last year people thought the Coli wouldn’t make it but it’s about to out last Facebook and Twitter![]()
one thing rightEpitome of corporate bloat. The 80/20 rule definitely applies here and at most large companiesAround 87k total employees
