Man I'm going to try this ChatGPT mess but Ima be honest, I can feel the frustration boiling up already because I know the questions that I have and I know that a computer cannot grow hands and point to where I'm supposed to place stuff and it cannot see my screen to even know what im even doing!
Don't underestimate. The modern LLMs are so good now that any single picture you send them, they'll tell you everything about it. Even down to the difference between the iPhone, android, web, & program versions of brokers.

Chatgpt 5.2 thinking is great, remember that, but it's thinking model is slower than the others however it hallucinate less. So use between it, Claude, and grok. Only their thinking models, don't use the basic shyt.

Like all these questions you answered no, AI will easily give you the answer and walk you through what's best for you.
Do u know what options are? No
Do u know how to buy a call or put? NO
Do u know what a stike price is? NO
Do u have broker? Would that be WeBull and MooMoo?
Do u know how to use it and navigate it? If by "it" you mean WeBull and MooMoo, NO.
Do u know what support and resistance is?
Do u know what support and resistance is? Vaguely
Do u know what a trading strategy is? I have an idea

AI is super conservative though, so you have to coach them to give you tips on making more if you want more. Let it know what broker you're using, what device you're using, what you know and don't know, how you would like to trade, what you actually want, etc.

Honestly dude I've ingested so much crap info I get them all mixed up now. Options, futures, stocks, it all started just meshing together into a blob a long time ago. Only thing I know for sure is forex because that's money. And crypto of course.
U dont need to learn about futures, forex, ect. Unless u plan on trading those. Those are totally different then options. People stay away from options because its fast money both ways. U can make money fast but also lose it fast which is why u have to be super disciplined when day trading options. Thats why most videos u see on day trading are about futures and forexes because its noob friendly but also u need to have higher risk to reward ratio to make money unless u have a big portfolio (which most dont). Thats why @FabTrey is advocating for day trading options because u can make fast money on small portfolios

Well your name certainly checks out :francis:

:russ: I only used the phrase because you did. Every course is gonna feel like a scam to you, because you're scared to lose and desperate to win.

I been following dude on instagram for ages. I only suggested it because I know he's a solid options trader who trades live.

When i saw my shyt go from 0.5% on robinhood to 11% on IBKR, I knew AI was cooking. I treated that bytch like a teacher, and probably spent hours daily using work time just asking AI everything.

I didn't even know what stops were, I was thinking like if I'm getting unrealized p&l, what happens when that shyt goes bad? How do I automate it so i don't just wake up one day and lose all my money? It explains it all.

Then I got Gemini for free for a year and perplexity free for a year and used kimi k2, qwen, & deepseek. I'd give them all the same prompts and pictures, made up my primary broker dashboard to give them the main info they need because AI is good at math and extracting texts filo pictures, would copy and paste their responses to each other for comparisons and to optimize results, etc.

It's been a good year to get really comfortable trading for me that's why I moved from robinhood. Hell, finding out i couldn't buy certain stock on there if I didn't have enough cash to buy a single stock was why I wanted to move and AI pointed me to the write broker when I listed all the issues I had auth robinhood.

They're still not too good with crypto because crypto just moves too fast for Ai, but the crypto market is shyt anyway.

Facts.

Most retail investors buy when the market is hot and then get scared off when things cool down or we get into a legit bear market.

Big money loves downturns because it's the best time to load up on securities. It's a better deal long-term than real estate since you HAVE to pay tax on property every year.

Stocks don't get taxed until you sell and realize the gain.

They love it because they shorted everything.

If you cannot figure out the most basics of trading with the world at your fingertips I suggest you find another sector because this one isn’t for you. This market is unforgiving so you better get used to it because no one is going to hold your hand. If you encounter a new term, Google it; need assistance finding your way around a platform, YouTube a beginner’s guide. But stop wasting your time scouring the internet for some holy grail and just get to it. Skin in the game is key and you’re using paper anyway, you’ll be fine.

Literature: Thomas Bulkowski’s Encyclopedia of Chart Patterns (the bible of trading and a compulsory read for all traders across all markets)
YouTube: Rayner Teo - Support and Resistance For Beginners (The Ultimate Guide) / Technical Analysis for Beginners (The Ultimate Guide)

I began trading bitcoin futures in 2018 and set out with Bulkowski’s mangum opus and a general understanding of the cycle after having been in the space for seven years.

This is exactly what I'm talking about, neither of you will just simply answer the question of where did you learn how to trade :russ:

One guy said to use ChatGPT which would be insane for someone who knows nothing about trading to go back and forth from a ChatGPT window to their trading window for every single detailed question, step by step, with some of the questions and concerns being impossible for ChatGPT to help with because it's not a human with hands or the ability to show you what you're asking for- the other guy just ducked the question altogether and then asked ME a question that I explicitly answered in my post, in depth! LMAO :dead:

Mfs act like I'll be cutting into their profits if they tell me where to learn how to trade from scratch. I can't believe this nikka said "ChatGPT" :dead:

Who's your broker?

An index fund for stability

Hyperinvest in the above stocks. Add to it monthly. Don't look at it for 10 years.

Like I said day trading and puts/options are a whole different beast. You can make good money if you know what you're doing. But if you're not prepared to spend hours a day analyzing the market then just do the above.

For big port yes. Can yall afford 100shares each? Then yes. Buy and then sell calls.

For small port I say mix them up with other sectors too

Ok. So first thing first. Master the webull.

Join my discord and follow Luxe. Buy 3 shares to practice.

---

How to Buy & Sell a Stock on Webull (Beginner Example)

This is for who’ve never placed a trade before. Simple walkthrough.

Example ticker: VERO

LUXE Entry idea: 12 break
Resistance / sell levels: 12.5 → 13 → 15 → 17
Stop loss: 11 or under

---

Step 1: Buy at the open

1. Open Webull
2. Search VERO
3. Tap Trade
4. Order Type: Market
5. Enter share size
6. Tap Buy

Market order = buy at current price.

---

Step 2: Set stop loss
Right after buying:

1. Go to Positions
2. Tap VERO
3. Tap Sell
4. Order Type: Stop
5. Stop price: 10.95
6. Quantity: all shares
7. Submit

If it drops, you’re out.

---

Step 3: Take profits at levels
Sell in pieces using Limit orders:

Sell 1 at 12.50

Sell 1 at 13.00

Sell 1 at 15.00

Sell 1at 17.00

---

Beginner reminders

Don’t go all-in
Always use a stop
If a level fails, don’t hope
Small losses are normal

---

Final note

This is just an example of how order types and levels work on Webull.

Even better. Go to webull paper trading. Practice first.
