I could understand it would be hard working with someone getting paid double your salary and you know he's not close to as good as you are at your job.
Just imagine you and your teammates battling in a 7 game series with everything you have. You have the defending champs, greatest team ever on the ropes. You're ready to make history. Then you suffer a heart breaking choke job that is gonna have you SICK for the next 4 months, if not the rest of your life...
And then a month later your LEADER, not just your teammate, the main guy, decides to switch to the team that just ripped your heart out. It's distasteful...

I do think chemistry would be an issue if the players didn't recruit him. But since they did I think the chemistry would be perfect. They're all cool with KD and KD is a far better passer than Barnes is.

@ the unwritten rules and mental gymnastics people go to criticize athletes. You can't go to a team that eliminated you , as a top 3 player certain teams are off limits, even if that's where you want to go. Here's the thing. I'm not trying to tell another man what he should do with his career. Should KD say fukk me and my family's happiness I need to please the posters of the coli? No he's was a free agent. Meaning he's free to choose who he plays for and how much. Maybe he doesn't prioritize being a top 5 or ten player. Maybe he just cares about winning. Not every player has that type of drive. Just cause he has the talent doesn't mean he cares about individual accolades. Its just not in his personality.

To the extent that people do speak up, the disgusting lot of you either bash them as jealous old fogies (Reggie Miller, Charles Barkley, etc...) or insignificant people whose opinions don't matter because of their professional stature (Markieff Morris).
