Kieff has been Bill Lambieer? Since when? Kieff nor his brother never gooned that hard in the NBA in they life…:russ:

Only comments I ever noticed in here is that the Morris twins tend to be more on the goon side. I never saw them catch the same hell guys like Pat Bev got. Maybe I just missed all the chatter but as far as I know the twins have always been good bench guys willing to mix it up. Outside of Marcus calling Luka a bytch ass white boy no incidents come to mind with the twins. Kieff was on the Lakers for a few seasons, was a solid player and one of my favorites on the team. Never acted on some extra shyt.

In this situation it seems like he threw that elbow at Jokic because he was getting away with extras battling against Bam. While we can all agree that when you do dirt you get dirt I still can’t help but feel like it was a disproportionate response. Kieff didn’t try to blow the man’s knee out or stomp on his hand. Maybe Joker didn’t think this would be the result but it was. I mean shyt, Kieff threw an elbow which resulted in no time missed and Joker threw his whole body and Kieff’s season/career might be over.

shyt is just weird to me because everything about the situation makes me think that the response has been surprising. Like brehs are mad at Kieff just cuz he played the tough guy role for teams but when you look at that Caruso/Grayson thread some of the same people clowning Kieff are sitting there advocating goon activities on some revenge shyt for Caruso. Brehs be Blackity Black Black as fukk when they wanna be then they wanna play cap’n save a cac when they don’t like somebody. Just seems hypocritical. But whatever.
I hear those point but it’s funny because Your response wasn’t this diplomatic when Ingram sucker punched CP3 from behind and with all his force with malicious intent

nikkas in here talking about suing :mjlol:
Same ones talking about how soft the game is the next thread. Fact of the matter is Morris got upset at a no call in the middle of his team getting blown out and hard fouled Jokic. He didn't expect retaliation and obviously expected wrong and got trucked.

Wouldn't the person who instigated be at fault, Kieff going to sue himself then? Nobody meant for the guy to get damaged but that foul wasn't called for and talks of suing are even more egregious lol

Who tried to injure who? If we talking Marcus then that’s a different subject. But who was Kieff tryna injure? Certainly couldn’t be Joker if all that happened on his end was a stern elbow. Is Joker the same size as IT now?

Y’all would have a point if he stomped on Joket’s shooting hand or put his foot under him while landing. Y’all acting like breh hit a missile drop kick on Joker’s knee and nearly obliterated all his tendons. Most I ever sent Kieff do is wear foams, look tough, play scrappy, and stay in his lane which was as a serviceable scrappy player off the bench. Y’all gon have to show me all this Lambieerian tactics that was being used that I never saw.
I'm guessing you haven't seen this angle -

Kieff makes first contact with Jokic's knee, which could've ended disastrously if he had both feet flat on the floor. It was only because his other foot was in the air that saved him. Keep in mind, Jokic had only just returned from injury in this game - he just returned from injuring that knee.

Jokic's season probably flashed before his eyes when his knee buckled again given what happened a week prior. Imagine if he would've torn his ACL on that play, what would be your response?

I've seen Kieff chop nxggas on the neck/face trying to act tough
I've seen Kieff step on legs/feet trying to act tough
I've seen Kieff body-check and shove players when they were unawares trying to act tough
I've seen Kieef throw stray elbows trying to act tough.

He tried to do the same to Jokic, but he picked on the wrong one that day. Bully nxggas get bullied every day, b.

I actually didn’t, thanks for that….:ehh:

When put into this context I can’t really feel bad for bro at all then. I mean, I do because this is a very needless way to potentially end a career but at the same time I have to readjust my position on this one and acknowledge some of my errors in reading the situation. I thought it was only an elbow but it looks like more was into it. As for that other stuff, I wouldn’t be surprised if that were the case since he doesn’t have a rep for nothing but I just never saw it while I watched him play and he’s been on my Lakers and my hometown Wizards.

What I can agree with y’all about is when you do dirt you get dirt. I’m a believer in reaping what you sow and in this case he did that to the wrong person. I’ve always appreciated Kieff’s scrappiness and I actually wish we kept him on the Lakers but I won’t deny that being with the shyts comes with consequences and that’s whether or not Joker was justified for his level of retaliation.

I still do feel that some are taking far too much satisfaction from all this. But at this point who am I to judge if breh put himself in this situation. I’ve felt this was a response more appropriate for a guy like Pat Bev, but I’m in the minority.

Depends on if it is career ending. He’s in Miami too so trust he’ll get the best legal advice

:hubie:
Also he can argue he was going for the ball so it was a normal basketball play. Whereas the “retaliation” was an attack from behind by a 7foot thug who caught him unaware.

Miami's legals or not it's 100% bytch shyt to sue over mess you started. That's like the playground bully getting his ass stomped out that one day and running to the principle. I know I'm talking from ego, bravado etc when we're talking about a possible career ender but the action that lead to it was ego from Morris. So I cannot condone running to the legal process because a guy acting like an idiot got crunched up.

And that's not a normal basketball play. The only thing keeping it from looking like the complete hard foul, body flailing etc it was is Jokic is 7 ft tall. That and the even harder foul that happened after lol. No attempt was made on ball, it was on the person with the ball.

Bro you acting like I care about this personally. Morris isn’t in the the right, but this isn’t a on court issue if it becomes career ending.

Jokic has a lot of money, If it comes out Morris can’t continue to earn money from that foul, he is going to sue the fukk out of Jokic, because that’s the real world reaction to something like this. I just called Jokic a thug because he and his brothers stay on that timing if you pay attention. The Morris brothers too but once again lawsuits are lawsuits.

Also not arguing if it was a normal basketball play. It was a foul but Jokic had the ball. Jokic charging into his back is not normal… especially because he didn’t have the ball. That’s the argument the lawyer is going to make. If this isn’t career ending I doubt Morris sues.

I wasn't talking to anyone personally, just riffing on how it's bullshyt. Because I know it'll go the legal route if he can't ever play again.

I didn't know Jokic had brothers playing, I already know about the Tough Twins

The thing missed from all this is Marcus ain't done shyt over his brother getting shattered either and how many games have the Clippers & Nuggets played since then lmao

That’s probably a mixture of the league putting him on notice and a potential lawsuit. Then again does their contracts even allow them to sue?

no one wants to see a player get hurt, and it sucks for Markieff

but let's not act like he didn't do a running elbow and clash knees with Jok in a blowout loss during garbage time
"but it's a hard foul" fukk out of here :camby:

You know what I think it is

Alot of these "bring it back" guys just want the players they dont like to get into fights

And maybe be "exposed" or get knocked out
