This story is hilarious I can't believe refund demands actually worked.
Capitalize on the rep you already have as a wrestling fan and wind up getting a free PPV.

I dont know brehs, they sound like some pretty smart marks to me

I agree with you to an extent. While they clearly need to lighten up I wouldn't call them idiots. We all get pissed about fictional wrestling angles and then do nothing about it other than come here or twitter and bytch and keep watching and the cycle continues.

Them getting pissed, demanding and getting their money back for show at least accomplishes something for that person, and if this works for enough people wwe will notice too.

Me personally unless there was a technical issue that kept you from watching the show I don't think they deserve their money back. WWE or the cable company shouldnt be at fault because you didn't like a creative decision. You still brought to the show.

It's not like people were able to get free service from HBO just they hated how The Sopranos last episode ended.

Yup. Those fans had fun watching D-Bry celebrate with the title on Sunday, so for that particular night they got their money's worth anyway. The championship doesn't come with a guaranteed period of ownership.

I don't think WWE should ever feel heat for overturning match results. That kind of shyt has been a part of wrestling forever. Adults know this.

And really, even if they did get refunds, does that outweigh the embarrassment of being such babies and marks? :heh:

I'm just amazed that cable companies felt the need to give refunds.

Can we get our money back from watching Sin Cara? WWE lied to us when they signed him that he was gonna be the next best thing but only thing we saw was botches and hard to see matches in mood blue lighting... I want compensation brehs:to:

This kind of actually makes sense, but only if you are a die hard Bryan fan. Yeah we know its scripted but that doesn't mean we know what the results will be. Replace Daniel Bryan with your favorite wrestler, now imagine he won the title at the pay per view but then the next night wwe stripped him of the title. Its kind of like, "If they were going to do that what was the point of having the match in the first place? I paid $49.95 for that?"

You paid and you saw your favorite wrestler win clean and get his feel good moment. Who cares what they do the next night on free cable? :why:

Come on brehs...use logic!!

That's exactly when I implied in the event thread, that people are going to have a hard time facing the harsh reality that they paid for a bad episode of RAW. I see that didn't sit well with some people.

I can't be mad at the attempt but I would be mad at not thinking about this for most of 02-04 if they got that bread lol

Did people ask for their money back when Kane won the WWF Title from Austin at the King of the Ring only to lose it the next night back to Austin?

or the finger poke of doom after Goldberg's first ever loss, wrestling fans for as much as I love being one we can be some strange muthafukkas about the things we get worked up over.

Because it wasnt a feel-good moment. Bryan fans werent even happy because anyone with a brain in their head could tell they were gonna pull a screwjob, which they of course did.

Now you got scores of paying customers rethinking if they should really be dropping 50 bucks on these glorified Raw episodes every month

Best for business? :usure:
