Exactly. Seems like they have an arrangement and BOTH dabble outside the marriage. Jada seems a bit miserable, but she doesn’t seem like a long-suffering wife. She’s doing her thing because he’s doing his thing. She just doesn’t want to leave because her true, current power comes from being Mrs. Smith. If she leaves she will disappear from the media. Nia needs to leave ol boy because she has nothing to gain and everything to lose by staying with him.

For example, if Bey ever leaves JayZ, she could announce a world-wide stadium tour and sell out every seat IMMEDIATELY because of her own star/staying power . That’s what happens when a woman has her own power in the relationship.
