That was a shame too cause I'm convinced Mike Epps left the show he was doing on stars called survivors remorse to do that uncle buck shyt. I preferred him on survivors remorse to keep it real.

who greenlighted this? who is Marlon Wayans target audience at this point? I feel like it's people my age (32) but we liked him when we were in high school. We've grown out of that so I feel like he's marketed to teenagers and young adults who don't rock with his humor.​

This show is exactly what I thought it would be. He still makes a good 10 second joke 30 to 40 seconds too long and goes all the way over the top with the physical comedy for a laugh.

His show debuted at the absolute worst time IMO. Over the past 3 years, we've had shows like Atlanta, Insecure, Survivor's Remorse, Black-ish and The Carmichael Show putting on for the culture in unique and very dope ways. Each of these shows have contributed to a black TV renaissance of sorts and now here Marlon comes with this super average show. So far, there's no real cleverness or nuance to it at all.

I'll keep watching until it fizzles out simply because it's the summer, but it's gonna have to get much better to keep my attention any longer.

yeah just told the homie @Motife43 Marlon basically doing stand up routines in every scene.....completely overshadowing everyone else....he told all these jokes in recent interviews I've seen with him...

He doesn't have anyone like Shawn to balance him out, slap him in the head and say "shut up stupid" like on the Wayans Bros.

This won't last past 1 season
