I'm staying out of that talk, but do want to say that wealth inequality could have played a factor in this particular event happening because the 70-year-old woman had to sleep in her car in a home depot parking lot. I don't have all the details, but I am curious at how that happened. I assume she didn't have a family who could have her live with them or afford to put her in a senior care facility.

What do you mean "coddle"? Do you mean ignore, because that is what we generally do here. So much crime and senseless shyt done by people that should of been committed, medicated or both but we wait and do nothing for the vast majority until they commit crimes. Then they may get help after all of that. The mental health system, just like the overall health system, is grossly inadequate for what we need.Gotta stop coddling our mentally ill. Same, not only is the act heinous, but it's crazy that he stole the forklift from a lowes and killed the woman in a Home Depot parking lot.

did you read the article? the guy was in his underwear doing this, doesn't appear like he was tryign to profit off this so he's probably got some sort of mental illness. a 70 year old woman was sleeping in her car and not a home because I assume she doesn't have one.
