Heels man but the truth is this team should not lose more than 2 games. After 2009 Duke has killed us recruiting. Roy went to see Dexter Strickland and failed to see his back court mate was better. Kyrie was open to UNC but Roy did not want to offend Dexter, so while he recruited Irving, it was soft. He focused on taking Barnes from Duke. Good short term but failed long term plan. Duke also has young homegrown assistants who sell their brand better than UNC. Carolina had enough historic cache to rule recruiting but they have not taken advantage of it. Now with Duke having more stars in the league(up until 10 years ago Carolina dominated this stat) young dudes and their parents see Duke as better more acceptable alternative to Kentucky. Kyrie, JO, and Jabari would have been Carolina in the past but not now. Can't front, they killin it right now. I hear K ain't even doin much anymore, but wants to get at least 7 natty's. :salute:to my Dook breh's but I hope y'all lose. :to:

I'm not worried about losing out to this overrated doughy muthafukka :russell:

Good luck with the lack of ball handlers :mjlol:

I pray we meet y'all in the finals. With the defensive pressure of Fox and Monk in the backcourt y'all won't be able to get past half court :mjlol:

Nah I think he's done to Texas. Bolden knew he was going to Duke for months but dirty ass K and Capel told him to hold off on the announcement so we lose out on Allen

And the kid wore a tcu shirt to the announcement today. Such a classless fool :scust: Uk gets good people we don't roll around in the mud like those two filthy schools in Carolina

Five-star center Bolden picks Duke over Kentucky

Mike Krzyzewski's loaded No. 2-ranked 2016 recruiting class just got better. In a news conference held Thursday at Desoto (Texas) High School, five-star center Marques Bolden, No. 16 in the ESPN 100, picked Duke over Kentucky.

"I am happy this is over with," Bolden said. "You could tell this was a very difficult decision for me because it took so long. I was looking for the perfect situation and I realized that's not going to happen. I did not want to regret my decision that's why I took so long. It's the biggest decision in my life so far."

The 6-foot-10 Bolden, the second-ranked player at his position, led DeSoto to a state championship and participated in the prestigious McDonald's All American game this year.

"My goal is not only to be drafted in the NBA but to play in the NBA," Bolden said. "I feel Duke will best help me reach my goal."

Bolden's game is in the paint with his back to the basket and scoring with either hand at the rim. His girth and 7-foot-6 wingspan enables him to block shots, and more importantly for Duke, rebound outside of his space.

"Coach K has been coaching and has been extremely successful at the highest level longer than I have been alive. He told me to trust him and I do," Bolden said.

Going into the 2016-2017 season, Duke returns more than 60 percent of its offense, including Grayson Allen and Matt Jones, the team's top 3-point shooters. Adding Bolden gives Duke a real interior presence. The Blue Devils' class finishes with three top-10 players -- No. 1 Harry Giles, No. 3 Jayson Tatum and No. 10 Frank Jackson. This continues a recruiting tear for Krzyzewski, who had the No. 1 recruiting class in the previous two seasons.

For Bolden, he's looking forward to playing for a team that can contend for a national championship.

"We have a chance to be really special next year with who returns and who is coming in."

I remember this exact level of exuberance over Brandon, Luke, Thornton, and Chase......and it yielded 10 losses. Go Heels.....fukk Dook:pacspit:
