Was just told that I'm treating dating and marriage like a "to do" list.

How are the younger members treating the idea of marriage in this current social climate?

If more couples treated it like a business there would probably be less divorces. Imo.

This person will be your business partner. Not your lover.


If youre thinking in terms of "love".. Youre almost certainly gonna divorce.

But if youre thinking in terms of "business" ... Great things can happen.

That "love" shyt is how nikkas end up giving up half in court.

Nothing is clean cut. You have to be able to atleast feel comfortable and enjoy your partner. But you also have to both be going in the same direction as far as dreams, status, money, goals. So it’s also business. You can’t be with someone who is lazy and you ambitious. Won’t work. Like trying to swim against the current. Being all business though will definitely have you miserable and that is not worth it

It's about holding each other accountable. There should be strict roles and responsibilities understood by both parties when it comes to marriage.
That doesnt mean yall let that get completely get in the way of love, respect, adoration, and overall mushiness.
Being able to gain a healthy balance of one side with the other is what determines success or failure of a marriage IMO.

1) Women's biological clock is the same as men's
2) Women stop maintaining the belief that men HAVE to play the breadwinner role
