It's obvious that Myrla's sole mission is to land someone with a much bigger bag than her's. While Gil may have technically made more than her, it's still not enough to finance the lifestyle that she expects her man to provide for her. Best of luck to her i guess, but she's nowhere near anything resembling a good catch to me.

I don't agree with the sentiment of the thread that Gil wasn't Myrla's "type". Outside of being god awful ugly, things are way more important in a marriage than someone's type
Pastor Kal said it best. Myrla is terrified of a real relationship. She was doing all that crying because she really felt something with GIl, but needed reasons to end it. That's why she broke up with him out of nowhere and blindsided him. She was scared of a relationship actually working
