I'm not married but I've been with the same girl for about 9 years.

I have semi-regular contact with 2 of my ex's from college. One is married, the other I think is living that YOLO lifestyle. Nothing has happened w/ either, we just occasionally get together for drinks whenever one of us is in the other's city. My girl would probably be furious, but the way I see it I had friendships with both of them before and our relationship ended a LONG time ago.

nah....i have a 'no contact with exes' rule for any relationship that i'm in, so i have to practice what i preach. but my exes ain't shyt anyway, so even if i were single, i wouldn't talk to them hoes.....

Of course not. I ain't stupid. And I've met up with them... *count* 3 times over the course of our relationship. Doesn't seem like something I should whack the hornets nest over.

Now if one of them was coming at me slimy, then I'd let her know. In fact, one of the ex's tends to drunk dial me 2x a year talking about the good old days, and me and my girl get a good laugh about that.

I have 2 types of exes; some that were friends beforehand and some where it was only a relationship. I don't talk to either though Sometimes something will remind me of her/them, but I don't care enough to get in contact. Personally, I don't care to even go down road, just to be safe

Yes and Yes and the only reason i do is cuz we had 2 kids together but the contact is pretty much non existent last 2 yrs though since she not in the kids life otherwise if i didnt have kids with her i wouldnt even want to talk to her

and the last question is i wouldnt keep in contact with an ex cuz she is an ex for a reason in my eyes

Because we were friends beforehand and our breakups were amicable so we're friends now. It's no different than any other female friend I have, except that we dated for 6 months, half a lifetime ago.

If I thought my girlfriend wouldn't lose her mind and re-evaluate every aspect of our relationship in terms of my extremely rare interaction with someone that I went to college with, I would absolutely tell her. But, she's a woman so .

Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, I did tell her about one of the meetups and she seemed cool with it, except for when she asked, "How did she look?" and I said, "She still looks good." That, turned into a fight.

Regular contact? No. But there is overlap in our social circles. My wife is aware of this. Wife and my exes are friendly.

I stopped doing a friendly "how have you been?" reach out a few years ago. I'll save it for when if I ever bump into them in person.

Do you only contact an ex if shyt isnt going right in your own relationship?

Aren't Ex's the ultimate sign of a relationship not going right? I really have no reason to contact them.
