Date night for me and wife is usually:

Nice restaurant w a good beer/wine/liquor selection (no chains like Chilli's or Applebees, etc)
Movie we havent seen or hittin a lounge so we can listen to music or dance it up
Sex

Every weekend is date night though, so this is routine for us.

Date night happens about once a month, whenever we can get a sitter for the weekend.
Movie,bowling,theatre,ice skating, different restaurants. Etc.

every wednesday is date night (as well as going out on the weekend). last week we went to Longhorn Steakhouse and had dinner and drove out to Kemah to shop for fresh fish to cook. we had ice cream while in kemah, even though it was cold. gave her a reason to snuggle up on a nikka....

i look forward to my alone time with my wife. she's a cool chick. she still has me open, even after being together for 16 years...

2. Picking a place to go either a Concert, NBA game, free museum: alternate once a month
3. Go to a restaurant
