This thread is gonna end well. 
A park near the Ashley River in Charleston, SC is where we would always go and chill at night when we were in the hometown. Bought a wine bottle earlier and poured (okay, drunk ) the wine out. In the process of attaching the note to the cork and asking her to marry me, my dumb ass cut my finger trying in the process of trying to put it back in the bottle so my note had some blood on it. Already had told and asked permission from her dad and mom (parents eat that shyt up). But anyway, we started yapping and shyt and I break out the bottle. She looking at a nikka all funny on some old "wait a minute...is this what I think it is" steez. So she opened the bottle and read the note and still was on some unsure if it's happening type shyt. Then we get out the car and a nikka hits the knee and breaks out the trillian cut (triangle shape - my wife is a Delta) solitaire engagement ring.
kinda looks like this, but the one I copped has diamond accents on the band.
she said yes and the rest was history.

i think Imma copy that idea...get wine, 2 glasses, the ring and go to a sentimental spot for us...
I'm thinking her mom's front steps...
or better yet...have a catered meal for 2 people set up inside the house with wine and a candle lit dinner....and propose outside...and just tell her mom dukes to not be at home
