Whew I remember some of this discourse. I remember when some of us pointed out that these women were opportunists using Black men to social climb, ppl, men and women IME, would argue us down.
It is what it is though, Koonye made his choice and now he has to live it.
As someone that grew up around friends/family with mental illness you can't point to one set of circumstances as the culprit or main trigger. Dude has had access to people around him that rely on his business to eat so no pushback from that side as long as he makes money and his inferiority complex coupled with his ,i assume bouts of manic/ depression leave him exposed to all possible consequences of his erratic behavior. He is really on his own this time,no handlers,no support structure and a PR death wish with no guardrail while he let go of the wheel. It's sad that he didn't get help when it started to go off the rails years ago but as long as he made a lot of people money,they could care less. He has to take accountability at some point but he is mentally ill,that may or may not be something that will play a role down the line.
