France forced Haiti to pay 150 million francs ( $21 Billion today ).
It also the reason why Haiti's forests are basically gone. They had to cut the trees down to sell for lumber n shyt.
Plus America destroyed their Rice industry. Then replaced their native Creole Pig with expensive American Pigs which made Haitian farmers broke.
And America also forced one of their Presidents ( who was voted in by the people of Haiti ) to exile.
I can go on for days lmao.
