but he puts his QB in shotgun on the 1 yard line with the SB on the line? Explain it. Goes against EVERYTHING I HAVE SEEN IN THIS GAME

PEE WEE fukkIN FOOTBALL YOU RUN THE BALL!!
It wasn't the right move 20/20 but i just can't believe with the possibility of losing the game that they thought along those lines.

If it was a score to put it away maybe but in that moment it's hard to see that.

Seattle player after the game anonymous

NFL.com's Michael Silver reports that one anonymous (and upset) Seahawks player considered the idea after Seattle's 28-24 Super Bowl loss to the New England Patriots. Sitting in the locker room, the player briefly acknowledged that the pass play seemed like an attempt by Carroll to elevate Wilson into the role of Seattle's savior.

"That's what it looked like," the unnamed player said.

I was thinking about the shyt and i dont think it was THAT bad of a play call. If you watch the play again Lockette gets absolutely blown the fukk out and shows no strength or even desire to catch the ball whilst Butler did.

Put it this way, if that wad Dez Bryant i think thats a TD. unfortunately Seattle have pretty terrible receivers so that makes the call stupid

That's EXACTLY what makes it a bad play call.....

with the game on the line you throw a slant to the 4th/5th WR on the team? Knowing the capabilities of your personnel is just as important as anything else. You think Romo gonna throw to Devin Street with the game on the line?

where ? in this thread? I dont see it...Conspiracy is they wanted babyhair MVP how does that involve losing the game
i coulda sworn i heard that bullshyt, maybe i was wrong. at least i hope i was

i still stand by the fact that they went for a quick pass that was either gonna be a TD, or stop the clock, and got caught up by a freak pick. if ppl think ANYONE was thinking about MVP when the actual fukkin game was on the line, :childplease:

Exactly what i said in my second paragraph breh. Seattles receivers are terrible in truth even though Matthews came up big. I wouldnt trust any of them in a moment like that, while you have the best and most reliable RB in your team. They should have run the ball

All im saying tho is the call itself wasnt bad. If that was Romo to Dez in that same situation i think it would have been a TD
