Don't get me wrong, I appreciate Marshawn and his anti-media stance just as much as anyone else. It makes me laugh and anything that makes Goodell and the league look stupid is funny and awesome to me.
But I have to call BS on subjecting himself to fine after fine after fine, burning bridges with people who can help his career and his money, just because he doesn't like talking and "There are only so many times I can say, 'I owe it to my offensive linemen,' or, 'The credit should go to my teammates,' before it becomes run down."
I mean, if you don't like saying "I owe it to my offensive line", then what's the difference with "I'm just here so I won't get fined"? Sounds like he just likes being a dikk, straight up. Trying to make it sound like some noble selfless venture is silly to me. Just call a spade a spade - you like trolling the media because you don't like talking to them. Whether anyone likes it or not, it's part of the job the league asks the players to do.
