RBs should look at the NFL as a way to make a lot of money for 3-5 years hopefully, then have some other career option. Ideal scenario is to get playing time early, outperform your rookie deal, get a new deal with a lot of guaranteed money then retire soon after. Finish your degree if you already haven't or pursue some other business venture.

If his heart is not in it then retirement is what he should do. But if a team comes at him with a decent contract this offseason i expect that tune to change.
