Martin himself hasn't been funny in years.

The drugs threw something off in his brain. I love Martin, but that just seems like the truth.

Remember how bad the last season and a half of Martini was?

Plus, lowkey, the writers on Martin show were great as well

I doubt they would be all touchy-feely like they were before, mainly because of this.

Besides, Martin lost his edge as a comic a loooooong time ago.

The Hollywood demonic evironment definitely took it's toll on him. He's so much more mellow now, probably takes meds too
He didn't say but 5 words at the Def Comedy jam anniversary when he got handed the mic at the close of the show

He recently said on Mike Tyson's podcast he had no plans on re-doing the show, because Tommy was gone

The last season and a half of Martin wasn't actually bad at all, it just wasn't as amazing as the seasons before. It's Wire Season 5 status, still fantastic television, just not at the heights it was before.

It was terrible. Absolutely atrocious. Martin was gone off the drugs, Gina wasn't in scenes with him and the whole plot went silly, even for a silly show.

I doubt a studio/network has even approached Martin about this. They trying to stir up a campaign to get this made. What network would it even be on? I don't think it will be FOX since they are pretty much out of the prime time TV business after the Disney deal goes through. CW doesn't do half hour comedies and I doubt NBC/ABC/CBS would touch it at all
