Marv Albert retiring after 2021 NBA playoffs

Good riddance, guy was losing his train of thought and breathing into the mic every game :mjlol:
“Good riddance” to Marv Albert?

Message board culture is so trash. Especially when it comes to the NBA.

:russ:

Dude is a legend. Show some respect.

Just goes to my theory that the fans and media that follow the NBA, don’t even really like the league.
Folks just like to be critical and argumentative.

This one even worse

It sounded like he had to exert everything in his body just to say Portis’ name :picard:

He’s one of the GOATs and this is an end of an era for sure, but some of these final moments have been roughhhh. Hope he lives life well afterwards.

Finally. He's the GOAT, but he's been washed and living off his past reputation for the last five years (at least). "Foot on the line for a long two." :mjlol:

Young’ins can make fun of him all they want from the past few years but this Brooklyn born Lincoln high school alumni legend is an all time great. Right up there with Al Michaels, Pat Summerall, John Madden, and yes Jim Ross.
thanks for all the moments Marv
