so is this like a "the studio" type comedy? wtf

.... his brother is Grim Reaper in the comics and will also be in the series portrayed by Demetrius Grosse . . .
"Grim Reaper (Eric Williams) originally relied on a technologically advanced scythe for combat, which served as a buzzsaw, missile shield, and a source of plasma blasts and electric shocks. However, his powers evolved to include necromancy, demonic summoning, illusion casting, and clairvoyance, often through magical means or mystical entities. In some forms, he also possessed enhanced physical strength and the ability to drain life force to sustain himself."

- Grim Reaper is a racist and harbors a deep hatred for people of color.[13]
Back at the villains' lair, the Grim Reaper tells Nekra that he plans on killing both Wonder Man and the Vision for the insult on the memory of his true brother. Man-Ape enters, angering the Reaper enough to display his true bigotry against Man-Ape and blacks in general. When Nekra explains to him that she's black, he refuses to believe it due to her albino nature telling her that she's the purest white he's ever known. Man-Ape rushes back to find the Black Talon, telling his ally that he can no longer work for a man who hates black skins. The two are outraged for being treated like slaves to the Grim Reaper.
Is that the President of that silly ass country from Superman? Trailer presents it as more comedy than action, but maybe it's a red herring. I know a little bit about Wonderman's story because of Vision, but I'm clueless when it comes to his brother.
I'm talking about the creator of the 'Wonder Man" show within the show. He had that same slovenly, pitiful look from Superman. I wiki'd it and it is the same dude.....no . .. unfortunately thats "Trevor Slattery" - the fake Mandarin from Iron Man 3 and also showed up in Shang Chi . . . .

like a 4th wall breaking showThis.I don't even know WTF you're supposed to take away from that trailer besides, "aha, meta right?" What the hell is the "superhero" of it all? No one knows Wonder Man's powers or story
Disney legitimately wasted a good 4 years promoting characters who mean nothing to the grand scheme the films. MoonKnight and Wereworlf by night got buried
Yea I've been saying essentially what you paraphrased. Basically that at the end of the day Disney's priority is girls, and that priority permeates everything they do. They'd like to have boys and men into their product, but they don't want to do what it takesThis.
Its obvious Disney is wanting to pivot Marvel away from solely cape shyt and wants to start playing with the more diverse concepts and subjects that Marvel Universe has. “She Hulk” was Marvel basically trying to make a fourth wall breaking sitcom. “Agatha All Along” was them trying to make a horror/supernatural project in the same vein as the Whedonverse. so far the most successful of these has been “werewolf by night” which was a love letter to the universal monsters and pulp stories of the 40s.
In theory, this isn’t a bad idea. when you look at Star Wars for example, the best Disney era projects have been projects that mesh genres, but in the Star Wars universe (andor, rogue one, season one and two of Mando).
when it comes to Marvel however, Disney Keeps neglecting the fact that you still need to provide stylistic action, solid acting AND interesting cinematography to get the average viewer interested.
someone on here said it (I think it was @O.Red) and I’m paraphrasing …that Disney cant help themselves and at their core really don’t want boys to be interested in their properties. They severely overestimate the appeal of the MCU and theyre arrogant enough to think that they can push the envelope of what superhero stories look like AND drop the over the top action . Its not gonna work and Disney doesn’t understand that they are now facing stiff competition from anime and manga. Kids in America don’t have to watch comic book movies to get their fill of stylized action .

), but they have too many fundamental issues they refuse to address so the stories suffer regardless
