If you're a fan of Entourage or a fan of Yahya then you'll love this show. Yahya is a good actor and Ben Kingsley is funny.

If you wanted to see a live-action comic book, then you'll be disappointed.

One action scene over eight episodes, he wears his costume once on a movie set. No special effects spectacle; he does not light up.

Imo, It's another superhero show written by and for people who don't actually like the genre.

watched first 2 last night. found the show to be shockingly depressing. it's like if the Studio decided to focus on some low rent actor for an episode with like 60% of the hijinks. i am in for the whole series though

LOL

ngl i never expected The Mandarin to be one of the most consequential characters in MCU history :leon:

he's a real one...took a permanent L for his new homie.

Series was a good lil binge while working from home today. I enjoyed it. Better than their last few entries like god awful ass Iron Heart and Echo and What if.

And of course we don't see the costume until halfway thru thru the last episode :russ:. That's fine though, the story entertained me. LMFAO @ Joey Pants getting the job over Mandarin again :laff:

The Doorman episode felt like padding when it was pretty obvious what was going to happen like five minutes after the first cash grab scene and the clause it was pointing to from earlier.

The whole cultural aspect of him being Haitian seemed like a big part of the series. I’m surprised they didn’t lead with that?
