this kinda sucks halfway thru the first ep. I abhor the web shooters...in all iterations...organic, home made, shooters visible, shooters under the suit...this is the rock bottom worst.

..the costume sucks...the shooters suck...the animation is corny...this starting with multiverse shyt is immediately offputting.

this has to improve. I'll watch episode 2 because i'm a spiderman mark but this is low tier shyt

Same here. I started watching it thinking that it was gonna be mid but I really enjoyed the first two episodes. I dig how they're peppering in cameos. His Asian female friend should have been Cindy Moon. It's interesting making Tombstone a good kid. I wonder how he'll turn evil.

About to watch it in a minute but was people. Complaining about the female Doc Oct in Spider-Verse? Like they have with female Penguin and Lizard. I don’t like race/gender swaps but at this point. People have to know that alternative universes and different takes. Of old characters have always been a thing throughout comic book’s history.

Outside of a few, most people didn't care about Doc Ock being a woman in Spider-Verse. A big reason for the lack of outrage is that the Spider-Verse films are about Miles Morales, not Peter Parker, and it's a multiverse story.

If Doc Ock was a woman in YFNSM, then I think there would be more outrage lol.

I don't remember the reaction to Jamie Foxx's Electro. However, with some exceptions, I do agree that race/gender swapping of iconic characters shouldn't happen.
