Well, I didn't expect that they would have Peter's father still alive (and in prison). That's crazy.

Last week, I said that Osborn collected Peter's DNA so he could do some cloning. It seems like I was right on that.

I didn't expect them to loop back to the first episode, though. Also, they're setting up season 2 to have Venom but I think that this Peter is too young to deal with Venom.

Wasn’t feeling this at first but episode 2 and 3 started hitting for me. I’d prefer if they kept Spidey shows to adult Peter but I like what they’re doing with this show.

I actually liked “What If,” “X-Men 97” was a masterpiece and “Friendly Neighborhood Spider Man” was great TV.

IMO this is a “What If” spin off show because you did see

There is so many directions they can go with the next few seasons. Especially how the Avengers are still out there and it’s just a matter of time before Thanos shows up. I wonder if they gonna bring in “The Snap” too and if folks are gonna turn to the dust.

This show did a complete 180. I wasn’t feeling the 1st 4 episodes but every episode after was great. That finale was

I’m sorry but this show is objectively amazing. I been trying to tell brehs.

Sometimes people get caught and swept up in nerd hate trains that aren’t fully justifiable outside of “well, this thing doesn’t look exactly like the comic I read +2 decades ago”. nikkas make that obnoxious complaining shyt a personality trait. I went into very skeptical but the show is undeniable. shyt has been great from the start and the quality only went up as the season progressed.

What the fukk, man. What a series.

Anyway, I think that it's too early to be introducing other spider-powered characters. The Peter in the show is still a newbie (and a teen).

Also, as much as I love the Spider-Verse films, not every Spider-Man-related media needs to have multiple "Spider-People".

But then again, Spider-Man rakes in a GAZILLION dollars in merch sales, so Disney/Marvel are always going to try to take advantage of that.

It's also funny how the character designs for the show are 2D, but yet the show's animation itself is in 3D (or maybe 2.5D?).
