MCU’s track record with black males hasn’t been great and from what I heard about the Cap/Bucky show, it was basically like what I saw of Mackie in Altered Carbon where he was taking Ls in damn near every fight.
I say this because ultimately this (Blade) is still just a comic book movie. Just make the mc look bad ass (the source material already gives you the look and powers), give him a pretty love interest, a punchable villain and a shyt ton of vampires to stake. It really shouldn’t be this stressful, unless they just want to F with the character.
Even if you want to be budget friendly and not give him his current/OP Alucard powers, fine… guns and sword vs grounded vamps is cool too.
