Marvel tried to do too much with a simple premise that if they FOLLOWED the simple premise they were probably afraid would come off too much like the Wesley Snipes films, and the Wesley Snipes films are considered sacred and untouchable. Also i’d bet a dollar to a donut that NONE of the directors they hired had a particular love for Blade as a character. Thats why they tried to inject a bunch of other themes that don’t FIT muthafukking Blade!

Get somebody thats passionate about BLADE as a character. Get out of their way, let the movie be the damn movie.
