It’s criminal that Wesley (one of my goats) got hoed in Blade 3, white folks ain’t shyt, yall know where I stand on that; Chad was the man, i stand on that (5 Bloods >>> BP1), but when do we get to focus on the mission (black representation) and not the sidequests (<insert actor> redemption arcs)?

When do Blade and TChalla get to come back?
And mind you white folks hoping the answer is never, to stick us back with Robbie Robertson ass background characters

Think of it this way: Blade came out in ‘98… and if you’re my age (late 30s/early 40s), we ate good back then as preteens/teens watching them two rated R films (Blade 3 was sabotage); a fictitious young black male with powers, skills, a hot female companion, whoopin ass and saving the world.

In a sense, Blade was the equivalent to being my “Penny”/“Ken Griffey Jr” and BP was my “Jordan” (for white folks it’s prob Spider-Man) but unlike Penny, Ken, Mike, (or Wesley, Tobey, Reeves, Chadwick, etc.,…) Blade, TChalla, Spidey, Batman, Superman, Frank f’ing Castle are always meant to be in their beginning if not MVP seasons, or at worst reset after their last dance to again be the Penny DRose or Jordan Kobe for the next generation.

They don’t get buried with the actors or with the decade. Us old nyggas appreciate what they did for our youth/gen (if we were lucky to have em), but then we kindly get the fukk out the way for the next gen to see a modern prime Blade, or BP, or Spawn, whoop ass. That’s just my stance.

Nah breh, ain't nothing changed with this era. Wesley's Blade ain't from the same long running MCU universe, so there should be no issues with casting a younger black actor to play prime Blade right? Granted that's never been the issue facing this Blade movie, as Marvel didn't want Wesley anyway, so that's more of a coli issue i'm addressing when it comes to the Wesley capin.

But with the other stuff pertaining to BP, so when will it be acceptable to see BP on the big screen again?

Bc at first it was the nonsensical notion of not tarnishing a dead man's legacy (which, to respectfully echo Tyson on the matter... "he don't care about his legacy, becase he's dead.") But now, is it no longer about Chad not rolling over in his grave, and just a matter of waiting until this current now-dumpster fire mcu continuity is over with? It'll be ok/non-offensive for a voice actor to voice T'Challa in a cartoon or animation by... 2032? or once that reboot switch flips?


Holland is still cast as Spider-Man because he don't look old and he ain't dead, but if anything were to ever happen to him (not wishing it), Sony and lil white kids would give it how many years of "mourning" before they said, "aight, next boy'ish lookin cracka up"?

All they had to do was redo Blade 1 plus more on Blades backstory with his crew he grew up with that gave him is tats. Could even sprinkle him as a vampire teen attacking people but show there's a good person inside. Frost could be more comic accurate and you can tease Draculas existence, the Darkhold book, and hint at other supernatural beings out there That took me 5 minutes just bullshyttingDisney does NOT want to make this movie it's more than clear

Marvel studios missed a huge opportunity by not doing tomb of Dracula or Frankenstein/mummy after doing werewolf by night could had a MCU version of the old school universal monster genre untapped goldmine right there
