In the comics he is an omega level mutant super strength, speed, flight. In a 1v1 he could absolutely give a super soldier that work.He wouldn’t haven’t given T’Challa that work that’s why.
They are both kings and rulers with resources too, so Black panther only real advantage is that he is smarter than him.
But thats what make it appealing, a hero being the underdog.

I haven't been following the controversy around this but Does this all boil down to Disney refusing to make this a violent R rated film?
Yep, i've seen two rejected creators so far, One guy did John Wick, and the other guy wanted to give this film a "the raid" like treatment which is essentially the same thing.
Disney seems to want to make this more like Madam Webb, but with Blade as the older maternal figure to a some young female vampire slayers.
He doesn't get paid if he walks.
If they cancel it HE DOES.
He's playing the LONG GAME
Disney wants to make a Blade "in name only" film, where they draw you in with Blade then switch to a neutered male, empowered feminist vehicle and you better love it or you hate your mama and all women everywhere
The writers and creators just wanna make a cool Blade movie, which is the easiest shyt in the world to do
