Come on bruh Namor was a great pick to be the big bad. For BP2 the only problem was that we didn’t get “the battle between two kings.” That majority of us comic book heads wanted. Remember how hype people were in End Game. When Okoye said that there were “underwater earthquakes in the ocean” by Wakanda.

The only people who were hyped for Namor were cacs because they had it in their minds Namor would be played by a cac actor.

Namor in a Black Panther movie meant a Black Nation greater than any cac nation in the Marvel narrative would be made NORMAL by being destroyed/partly destroyed via a flood. It’s the primary reason why it happened in the comic.

Stan Lee and Kirby INTENTIONALLY made Wakanda the most powerful nation OF ALL along with being UNCONQUERED in the Marvel narrative. How the fukk can it be destroyed by an outside external force?

Namor and Fantastic Four have a better rivalry. Namor and Black Panther thing felt out of nowhere and went on too long.
Personally I haven't cared much of what Marvel did with Black Panther once Reginald Hudlin started writing him. I tried to fool myself into liking it but they weren't that good. But his stories in Jungle Action, Marvel Presents, and Marvel Knights are still enjoyable today and are the definitive depictions of that character.

I think Namor is best used when he is attacking big coastal cities in the US with how much we are polluting the ocean.

Reality is Hollywood is racist and don't believe in black led movies. Blade would crush the buildings. It took 10 years for them from the first Iron Man to make a black led superhero movie with Black Panther and they didn't even believe in it and were shocked it broke records.
