One thing Gunn has done so far make black characters cool:snoop:I wish Hawkman and Hodge could appear as a revamped canon version
As great as Mister Terrific was in Superman, Hodges as Hawkman was by far the best part of Black Adam with how they made the depiction of the character.

So they wanted him writing poetry and kissing other male vampires in the mouth. fukk outta here Feige.:camby:
I don't even wanna see this horseshyt anymore. It's gonna be some contrived white liberal bullshyt idea of what they think he should be which I'm sure involves some LBGTQLMNOP crap.

Petty Vandross.. fukk Yall
A real conversation needs to be had on how Feige and Marvel look at their black legacy characters
Sinners did numbers so now this forcing their hand
I wouldn’t put it past them to still make Blade third string in his own film
nikkas gon be disappointed when Storm, Bishop show up in the X-men
And watch what they do to Miles in live action
James Gunn weirdo ass is doing better with black characters and other races in just one film
Ain’t that some shyt

At this pace, the premiere will be in 2035

Really what it boils down to is they couldn't possibly stomach having a strong black character have a basic premise of being John Wick with vampires. With no comedy, love interest or tongue in cheek humor.

So they tried valiantly to make every other movie except the one that people wanted to see. And because of the lead actor refusing to bend to it and because of the quality of the or lack thereof that was being produced it wouldn't work

And I do agree that Sinners really put them in a bad spot because it was so successful. Now they're outta excuses.

They never really wanted to make the movie in the first place.

Blade is literally one of the easiest movies to make because not only is the basic premise simple,
the budget can be small and there's a previous film in 1998 that is the gold standard what you need to do.

These are all excuses because they didn't want to make the movie in the first place

Ali approached them:francis:They could've easily just said we don't have any plans for Blade right now.
