The movie goes from conception to birth but there’s no time to get enjoy seeing the baby grow up. He’s born under threat, does a miracle, then is captured.

Time is irrelevant. There’s no breathing room.

It would be like if Spidey and Gwen’s relationship was only her death and Peter awkwardly watching her. The actual relationship is just skipped over. Like you need to see the characters grow to create a bond.

Why do you assume he got captured? Doom even took off his mask, if we see the complete scene it will be talking or playing with the kid, turning around and its or itsn RDJ.

The point of the scene was to stablish thay franklin will be the thing driving Doom in Doomsday.

Just getting back from seeing this and overall enjoyed it

I thought they nailed the family dynamic, and didn't take too long to establish the threat and trying ways to solve it. The retro aesthetic worked really well and the space sequences were . Johnny and Herby were probably the biggest hits with the audience I saw it with. Very solid start for them.

Don't worry, he's not accurate at all when it comes to plot details, he's really only accurate when it comes to trailer release dates. Some things that he said:

• ⁠Tom Cruise as Tony Stark, Brother Voodoo, Eternals, Blader the Brave and Monica Rambeau in Multiverse of Madness
• ⁠Werewolf by Night and Dracula in Moon Knight
• ⁠Storm in Love and Thunder
• ⁠Doctor Doom in Wakanda Forever

As you can see, none of these ended up being true. It's almost like he's throwing every plausible rumor possible, and some of them inevitably end up being true.

Dudes randomly showing up in my house unannounced usually ain’t just here to talk especially “Uncle” Victor.

But you’re right it may be there is no rivalry between this Doom and Reed and something else is happening

Franklin Richards and Galactus. Best bros until the end of time. Literally. Galactus is billions of years old and fears nothing. Except for the inevitable loneliness at the end of time. One of my all time favorite F4 scenes is Galactus learning he would not have to face the end by himself...
