i never hear about MCU movies doing numbers on streaming. i'm sure they do, and this isn't Netflix where they just make metrics up, but you always hear about dogshyt movies having a huge second life on streaming. MCU movies are ghosts after about 2 weeks in theaters now. Doomsday is gonna have a "Jurassic World: Whatever the fukk the new one was called" shelf life.

Seriously though, in the long run, more people have probably seen Madam Web than this mid ass movie, b/c Netflix just slaps it on their main page under the heading, "Watch this Diarrhea, you fukkin Moron," and people listen.

Something that has to continue to exist because it makes money will at some point reach a point that it's quality declines because it can't stop while it's still good. The MCU will continue to exist until it's dog crap in quality. It's unfortunate we never got X-Men integrated while it was still in it's prime.

i stopped caring about xmen the second they said "we're just bringing back all the Fox actors." here's the thing, i never liked most of them, and they got like fukkin 10 movies. they also kinda got closure in Deadpool and Wolverine. they even had a sincere montage of the characters like anyone gave a shyt about original Collusus and shyt...

any fukkin dork still excited to see 75 year old Hugh Jackman call Dr. Strange "bub" isn't worth pandering too anymore. and the "reboot" of the x universe is at best 5 years away. who gives a fukk at this point? covid, disney+ and the writer's strike killed the mcu. i'll watch forever, but there's no hype. shyt, i'm more hyped to see how they explain the new Black Panther than i am about Doomsday and Secret Wars. there's not a single MCU solo/group property at this point i am pumped to see after the Avengers movies. Shang-Chi was cool, it's been 11 years now. his sequel would make $150 dollars. i'm gonna watch the Doomsday trailer and go, "heh, aight. was gonna watch no matter what so... that was cool i guess?"

The new Black Panther is probably multiverse shenanigans.

The Fox actors are just a stop gap. They're about to at minimum soft reboot or maybe even outright reboot the whole MCU with Secret Wars so there will be new X-Men.

Disney bought Fox in 2004. Stopgap should have been happening when they were trying to pretend we needed the adventures of "Hawkeye: The Young Girl Version!"
(that show was ok)

2004? You're 15 years off lol. The Disney-Fox merger was finalized in 2019.

Yes, the X-Men will be different after Secret Wars. It will be new and young/younger actors in the roles. Kevin Feige has stated this.
