I'm going to say 8.4.

The retro futuristic world was flawless and the Galactus design is :myman:
So the Surfer thing didn't detract from the plot? You said they killed the design for him but did he come off as Galactus? Menacing like Thanos or more like Ultron?

Seen it early for free. Good ass movie:wow:
Glad to hear that, what would you rate it?

I’ll give it a solid 8. Liked it a little bit more than Superman

Anyone else Pascal has been weird and creepy as fukk during this press tour? Reallyyyy fukking touchy with his pregnant and married co-star and just trying too fukking hard to seem fun and whimsical.

A co-worker touches my wife's hand like that and we throwing hands.

Thought she was the one being weird. Didn't know he was touching on her back.
They definitely smashing. Crazy cheating with a pregnant woman

BEGRUDINGLY AN 8/10 :scust:

Richards actually managed to save his family for once with minimal collateral. I'll give credit where credit is due.

HOWEVER

He wouldnt have been in this situation in the first place if he simply groveled at my feet and begged for assistance.

good movie. similar in interpretation of the classic comics as thor ragnarok and of a similar standard. probably overall not as good as that film due to less action. the retro world was excellent.

the four work well as an ensemble. oddly enough the weakest portrayal and possibly most out of place one, albeit only marginally, was human torch. pascal, invisible PAWG and ben were all excellent. the interpretation of ben's personality was the best of them all. it differentiates him a lot from other MCU strong men and establishes him as his own man.

their powers were all shown to great effect although they could have done more with reed. all in all they were powerful and more effective than expected.

surfer was great. the acting, the powers and the fights. galactus was also good although he could have been better. maybe they didn't have the time or the budget.

they said "family" and that is what we got. it's very much a family dynamic and different, maybe even better than the dynamic within the various avengers teams. we felt they really cared about each other through the ups and downs.

a very good addition to the MCU and a 7.5 to 8 for me. a better galactus and longer resolution would have added a point. the space scene was infinity war level.

my score might change after a second watch.

What’s crazy about that, at least he doesn’t have to worry about getting her pregnant you can paint the walls without a care in the world

Just got out the theater. It was dope

I’d give it about an 8.5 and Superman an 8. Which is where I rank most GoTG movies in the mcu.

The special effects were nuts. They did play it a little safe and the characterization of Johnny was kinda weak but it feels like the first true fantastic 4 adaptation. One we never got before

I could die happy if this is the last time we saw them
