One thing that F4 did better than Superman was the sense of scale in battles. Metropolis looked underwhelming, especially in the early scenes. The crowds were sparse, small groups of people just standing around watching when there should’ve been a mass stampede to get to safety.

Both movies evacuated the city for the final battle, but in Superman the shyt looked like it would fit on a CW tv show.

People complaining about Reed being able to have that much influence to make people have light curfews but didn’t we have Dr Fauci announcing COVID and the whole world threw on a mask? :patrice:

Sure we all put up a fight in a way lol but in this universe I assume the influence of heroes who’ve advanced society would make a world less cynical than ours?
They live in a timeline without Alex jones so it’s definitely a fantasy dreamland only able to be depicted in film.

Just saw it in IMAX
Its fine:ehh:
Probably the best looking MCU movie since Endgame.
The F4 were all good
I'm surprised they actually saved their world and Feige didn't connect it to the end of Thunderbolts.
So we really going to be in the dark about Doomsday until it comes out which is fine I guess
I think the post credit for this ties in to the post credit for Thunderbolts - Doom kidnaps Franklin which allows him to move across the Multiverse and F4 are going after him, which is why we see them go into 616 in the post credits for Thunderbolts. The RDJ version of Doom also probably originates in F4’s 828 universe which is why he looks like Tony - tbh I’m not mad at this because at it means Doom’s entry into the MCU is tied to F4 which is really how it should be.

Film was dope though - the thing I was really interested in seeing was how they portrayed Reed’s stretching abilities without it looking corny and it looked pretty good to be fair. I think Marvel benefits from hindsight with these things though, similar to Hulk in the Bana version of the film - looked so garbage in previous iterations that it’s a quick win for them just by taking the learnings and not doing it the way it was done previously.

But yep we back up - looking forward to Doomsday

I’ll also say this subverted expectations for me in terms of the ending because going I assumed Galactus wins and that’s how they end up in the 616 universe

That’s what i was hoping for

Y’all thought superheroes being introduced in their entry movie were going to lose?:comeon:

What entry superhero movie EVER has the hero or heroes lost in?:comeon:
