My number one fear with Doom is because RDJ is playing him he is gonna have his mask off the majority of the time he’s on screen which defeats the entire purpose.

No way they are paying RDJ 60 million dollars or whatever to have his face covered up the entire time :francis:

They already had him taking off the mask in the post credits scene :dead:

Being that it took EVERYTHING from her and out of her to do it…..

More specifically costing her her life….. I think it tracks.

As most shows…. The hero push themself to their limits and just be exhausted in the aftermath, no she literally died
But I always thought that was something only Thanks w/the Infinity Gauntlet or Odin could do. Again, I'm not too hip on FF4 especially with all these universe iterations

i enjoyed Thunderbolts more than this. shyt, for all the talk of the chemistry between the Fantastic Four family, i liked the chemistry between the Thunderbolts more. Sue and Johnny didn't feel like siblings and Reed and Ben didn't feel like best friends to me. they focused too much on the Reed and Sue stuff for the other relationships to pop. Johnny and Ben's banter wasn't even as good as they were in the shytty Tim Story movies.

Saw it yesterday.

When compared to Superman, FF4 had higher highs but Superman was a more consistent movie throughout and they did right by Mr Terrific which was a pleasant surprise and gives it extra points from me.

The sequence where

They went into space to meet Galactus was FIRE. Excellently plotted, written and directed.

One thing I thought was silly was

Sue going out WITH HER BABY to plead with the group of protestors. Even by comic book logic that shyt was dumb as fukk and took me out of the movie temporarily. NO mother would do something like that.

Overall I give it an 8/10. Same score I gave Superman.

Because early Johnny Storm would be "problematic" in this era

Wasn’t he just a guy who liked girls? Chris Evans portrayal was a guy who liked girls and they liked him. He wasn’t selling dreams or manipulating anyone. He was a young guy who liked attractive women and was confident/ a little cocky.

I really don’t see how comic book accurate Johnny is problematic unless there’s something i’m missing.

Almost as dumb as taking a very pregnant woman into outer space to battle cosmic aliens.

World's smartest man my ass. DOOM would never with a pregnant woman
