Cool movie.

Though, my issue with some of these later MCU movies is that some of the enemies are extremely nerfed. Like Gorr the God Butcher which only butchered like one or two gods on screen. Or Galactus in this case. More planet devouring would've been nice.

I think they were just trying to show her literally put her life on the line to save her child. All she really did was push Galactus who was already off balance and by doing so, it cost her her life. I think her dying goes to show you how difficult it actually was.

I think in the end they were more lucky than anything that Silver Surfer intervened because he was still trying to claw his way back after being knocked in.
That’s exactly how I looked at it…. Especially me having kids and seeing how a mothers bound is with their kids

I have to admit. Two weeks ago I thought I was experiencing superhero fatigue after witnessing that turd of an abomination they call Superman. Marvel restored the feeling by dialing down the humor and delivering a grounded movie that could stand on its own without the comic book elements. This was a great throwback sci-fi movie at its core. 8.5/10
