Had no problem with how they played it "safe", bar was in the dirt for this specific IP and a stable entry is all that was required.

Thing felt underutilized but the rest were well done, specifically going out of their way to establish Sue as one of them ones Jessica Alba can rest, her watch has ended

I can’t lie homie’s theory is actually interesting. He theorized that DOOM isn’t a Tony variant. But rather Tony is a DOOM variant. I can actually see that being the big twist lol. I mean the Russo’s keep saying that “only RDJ can play DOOM.” And shyt like this, "I think these movies are gonna be a surprise to people. We found a way into the story that's very exciting to us, but, we think, very radical, and I think it's gonna challenge audiences." I think homie cracked the code.

There's definitely a twist coming and he can't do Doom for another 5+ years, but even reintroducing RDJ as Doom is not only going to nerf any other actor that plays him unless it's another actor as equal or big as RDJ, but it low-key taints RDJ's legacy in the MCU. Marvel knows better than this from the whole Trevor Slattery fiasco.

I can't believe MCU wasted Mads on Kaecillius.
