Nah not at all, if you played any tag games like dbfz or even marvel 3 and any arcsys games this is light work. The defensive mechanics are seemingly the most complicated but thats how it’s suppose to be.
Yeah i ain’t really like the DBZ games. Would prefer if it was something more like a “traditional” fighting game if that makes sense :manny:

That's actually not true. These recent tag games all have convoluted mechanics.

I'm not even shytting on Tokon assist mechanics yet but it's a lot, definitely compared to established tag fighters

After watching the video I'm actually excited to see how it plays out. I like how unique it is I'm not a big fan of the whole 1 lifebar thing but having multiple rounds and being able to freely switch is alright with me. Glad to have motion inputs with 5 buttons and not that bullshyt ass 8 buttons shyt like Nen Impact. While I wouldn't of minded a more mvc inspired game i'm happy with this cause its such a unique take on a tag fighter. I like the idea of having that buildup throughout the match.

Only thing that is different is that there is 3 assist buttons instead of 2 that have different functions depending on where they are and having to unlock them during the match but it’s still basic tag game stuff; Alpha counters, DHCs and active tagging. It’s really not that complicated if you play tag games
