I get that but I'm honestly not seeing a lot of bad faith regarding Tokon. If anything I'm seeing a hard correction from the initial hype

Does the fgc whine? Of course but I think perspective really matters in these times. We're currently in what seems like an intervention and nikkas gotta have certain conversations

More than bad faith and "Doom glazing" I'm seeing nikkas being frustrated:russ: Outside of Street Fighter the scene is not doing so hot

Strive is still doing well but it's almost five years old

Like I said earlier nikkas tired of the watered down fighters. This "make fighting games accessible" era has failed:manny: and we're left with a sea of games nikkas tried to be optimistic about but ultimately abandoned. Nikkas turned around on Tokon this fast because it looks like it's going down the same road. I think it's very telling they didn't have training. I think even they know the game is not that deep

I haven't kept up too much with Tokon but the little I have seen raises immediate issues that I'll probably end up addressing eventually. Overall it is starting too look like Watered Down Floaty Cinematic Fighter #9 and that's not good. Going down this road it'll end up just like 2XKO, even with Marvel attached

I think it's poetic that the Avatar beta was this weekend too and the reception has been overwhelmingly positive. The game looks like dogshyt but nikkas had fun being able to DO shyt, especially in this era where it feels like all of these games have borders and safety rails

Ultimately it's a bad play to dismiss complaints as nikkas being pessimistic and negative, especially in this era of frustration. When hyper optimistic, industry insider ass Maximilian is complaining it's time to start reflecting:pachaha:
