The game was announced 2 years ago. AAA development usually takes upwards of 5 years for a title. I would say 2027 at the earliest seems more likely and probably 2028.

Maybe if it was a sequel to a game they'd already made. Like Marvel's Spider-Man 2 had a shorter development of maybe 3-4 years but they had already made several games in the series at that point.
