This is why I fukking hate Hollywood:

At the San Diego Comic-Con in 2012, Louis D'Esposito said this:

Really?:stopitslime:

So, creating a modern African country that happens to be the most technologically advanced country in the world, shuns the rest of the world, and is ruled and protected by a black genius king is hard to create....

But Asgard was no problem.:comeon:

Eat a dikk, Marvel. I like what Marvel is doing in the cinematic world, but its shyt like this that makes me forever hate Hollywood.

Not just that, but keep in mind that he said that at the exact same time he mentioned them making a film that features a talking Rac00n and Tree fighting in space with two green skinned warrior aliens. :aicmon:

They being viewed as suspect by women too. The only thing they get asked about more than Black Panther is a female lead superhero film and they bullshytting about that too. Although I do find it funny that even with Johannson in the cut they only ask for a Ms Marvel movie. Even casual fans realize how wack Black Widow is.

People tend to overlook how shytted on female heroes are in these movies. Wonder Woman is WB's Black Panther, it gets asked about all the time and they just be like "We're looking into it" which pretty much translates to "We're looking into this big ol' trash can we throw all your hopes and wishes in".

If Marvel does make a Ms Marvel movie it'll only be to get it out before WB makes a Wonder Woman movie. There's beyond no excuse for there not being a Wonder Woman movie, especially considering she's so Iconic, has had a TV show, and that animated movie back in 09 was so well recieved.

Though I loath to imagine what Snyder and Goyer would come up with for the character. Probably some fukked up combination of Sucker Punch and Blade: Trinity. :scusthov:

Yeah but everything else would be shyt lol

Plus they'd be trying to fit it in with Mos so we'd get some weird ass emo version of Wonder Woman.

First half could be like 300 then switch into modern day. I wasn't really a fan of the 300 movie though but the action was straight.

I mean do they think we're stupid? You have a universe where you have gods, people who fly, eat planets, turn into large green monsters, and a fukkING talking Racc00n and somehow, someway, making an advanced African country is hard work to pull off. Get out of there with that shyt. These people, man I swear.

Loki:

"Not a bad idea, he is a very popular character".

Black Panther:

Marvel doesn't have the heart to say that they really DON'T want to do a Black Panther movie. They probably feel its more heartache than its worth. No one cares what "Guardians of the Galaxy" looks like or for that matter Asgard, but if they even do one little thing to BP that the fans feel is not right, the criticism would be like never before. I can't wait for the arguments over if "BP is too powerful and should not be slapping around CAP and Tony Stark like in the comics" and/or "Wakanda is too technically advanced to be in Africa" or course lead by the white fans and then on the opposite side there would be "Wakanda isn't black enough" and "BP should not be losing like this so easily" lead by black fans. I haven't watched that animated Disney Avengers show with BP in it. Do they talk about Wakanda at all or is BP just there like the others? If its the latter, i think Marvel would rather BP already be in the Avengers by the 3rd movie where Wakanda is not referred to much at all...

The Black Panther in Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes was DOPE. He sonned the entire team during their first official meeting. He was treated like a capable and wise member of the team that constantly got the drop on people.
