Both states rank high in education, have beaches and are part of an amazing metro(DMV AND Tri State). Which one is a better place to live and raise a family?

1. Safety 2. Schools. 3. Affordability. 4. Things to do for kids. 5. Nightlife 6. Middle class black neighborhoods or just diverse period(Montclair, West Orange, Montgomery and Pg County for Maryland). 7. Shopping 8. Food. 9. Public Transportation. 10. any other criteria you can think of.

As someone who goes back and forth between Jersey and Maryland for family, I can tell you my experiences.

I like Maryland because yall at least have larger population population of wealthy black people. And cause you don't have the Newark fukking Airport :scust:. And your women are :whoo:

Plus your transportation is much better interconnected with the DC public transportation system than NJ is to NYC and Philly.

Plus outside Baltimore, your cities are pretty decent whereas in NJ, all its cities(besides Hoboken) ain't shyt.

MD
Maryland>any other state. Montgomery country preferably. Crime is really low. Excellent public school system. Your child will be around mostly every race. Some good spots in PG also. If you can't afford to live in the heart of Moco like silver spring/Rockville/Bethesda, look at Gaithersburg/ Wheaton/ Briggs Chaney. stay away from Montgomery village/cinnamon woods and some places in Germantown. Plenty of things to do for children. Busses and trains to take you pretty much all over the DMV. Women are :whew:. Lots of malls wheaton, tysons, PG plaza, iverson(:mjlol: not serious). Night life is kinda meh in MD, you can go downtown silver spring which is always popping. but luckily you can hop on the train and turn up at the clubs and bars in D.C. Adams Morgan, U street etc, Georgetown.

I love Maryland, it's my second home. But there's a huge differences between PG County, Waldorf, Columbia, Baltimore and Frederick. Sadly, the farther away from DC and Baltimore, usually the better to raise a family unless you have to money to live away from the bad influences in the DC.

Sure it's the same in Jersey.

Mustard Island
NJ got the strip mall, indian owned liquor store, and diner game on lock
The weather and cost of living is worse though
Parts of MD look very similar to NJ in terms of it just being highway and strip malls but at least it's more black and better affordability/tax wise
