Blame the economy for that. How many young adults under 35 can afford a home or a decent 1 bedroom apartment with hyperinflation of pricing? Who can afford $2k a month rent?
No other generation went though a economic or housing crisis like this one.
I agree. That's why I always want to know what the life context is for men who complain about not getting women. Generally getting a text back is the least of a man's problems when he can't even afford to host a kickback at his crib or actually *go* anywhere if he has paid time off.
If you don't have a path towards some level of sustainable financial security and health, then that's something you can be spending mental energy trying to resolve instead of posting in the comments sections on dating videos and complaining to anonymous strangers who aren't obligated to listen and will likely roast you and turn you into a meme for entertainment.
I think if America had a federal jobs program and universal healthcare with access to mental health services, a lot of these guys would be making some money, improving their social skills and unpacking their emotional pain then figuring out ways to sublimate it and improve as people.
What I want to see is people being in good health, having hobbies they can enjoy with others, building solid social circles, seeing the world and not spending hours a day online fixated on how others are doing them wrong.
